Being Unique

A wise person once said, "there is no elevator to success, you have to take the stairs.” What this means is, you have to work hard in order to be successful. It isn’t just going to be handed to you either. One in a million people get lucky and don’t have to work hard to be successful, it is just handed to them. But, if you are to succeed in the society today, then you have to get that out of your head. If you are one of those lucky few, then good for you. But if not, then you can not waste your whole life waiting for some miracle to happen, you have to take action. You have to work hard, earn an honest living, and craft your success in your own hands, no one else’s. Now, you are probably thinking, “ what is this guy getting at, what does any of this have to do with me?” Well, I was getting to that. Now, a lot of people have blogs, comics, and even pod casts about Wizard101. They all are probably thinking the same thing, “ when am I going to get noticed?” They probably think that making their site more flashy, more interesting, or talking about it publicly more will get it noticed by hundreds or thousands of people. They might have all these ideas on how to get noticed and such, but they have not thought of one thing. This idea could very well put their site on the map. They could be the most well known person in Wizard101 other then Merle Ambrose. The answer is simple, and right beneath their noses the whole time. The answer to the million dollar question is… Give up! Yup, that’s it, just give up. I might seem foolish, but with this answer, I am the richest person in the world… rich in intelligence. Like I was saying earlier, if you don’t think about being that one in a million person, then you will succeed far more then everyone else. If you work hard, and put aside all the thoughts of fame and fortune, then you are one in a million. You are the most unique person in the world for one reason, you simply gave up. You gave up fame, you gave up fortune, you gave up everything that drove you insane before, you gave up on having all the power in the world, and now… you are your own person. You are free and can now do what you love. You can now blog freely, draw and write comics freely, and do pod casting freely.
