Our Family in the Spiral

A bit of a non eventful day for FireSong and MythSong today.  

FireSong gave MythSong some furniture and trees for her house, MythSong made quite a bit of progress through MIrkholme Keep, and they both did someChristmas decorating, while FireSong made a bash at training to get her helephant pet to ancient... he is nearly there! Marlybone really does get depressing after a while.

Poor old FireSong had a bad fright in the morning, she logged on and found another young wiz with the same school, name, pet and similar gear, only difference was that the other wiz was a lower level. Funny things can happen in the spiral....with all those users, you're bound to meet with coincidences sometimes...or whatever. I am sure she wouldn't want to be FireSong right now because that very troubled wiz is just facing up to the notion that she needs to do the Legendary crafting quest - for anyone who doesnt know, this mission involves a lot of farming reagents which is totally crazymaking. 2 sets of spirit drums, bah....that means obtaining 18 more sunstone, 12 black pearl, 12 golden pearl  and more. Oh Joy!

MythSong is at a tricky stage in the game, because at level 31 she really needs better gear and a bigger deck than she can get from level 30 and under. Her priorities for gear are pip chance first, life  and mana second, all the rest after. From doing this, she is up to about 33% pip chance/1300 life which i think is pretty good for that stage of the game. You can stack more life than that at this stage, but you will always be trading pip chance and with a higher pip chance you need less life.Myth also appears to require less life than fire.MythSong is nowhere near as fragile as FireSong was.

One poor young wizard asked MythSong for help, and MythSong lectured him about pip chance until she got killed and was still merrily typing away when she noticed she was dead. May this be a lesson to all chatty young wizards. Fight first, type later :D hahaha
